UK: Private investment firm Wirefox has acquired the Ardwogan Hotel located in St Andrews through its Marram Hotels business.
The purchase notes the second residential or commercial property in the Marram Hotels portfolio, joining The Bushmills Inn in Ireland. The most recent property was bought from the McLachlan household for an undisclosed amount.
Housed in a B-listed Georgian condominium designed by Scottish designer George Rae, the hotel consists of 29 en collection bed rooms with an additional 7 en collection spaces in an area of the building dating back to 1820. It likewise offers a dining establishment, balcony as well as bar.
