You may want to book a day room for a long transit or if you need private space during a day (or perhaps even loyalty qualification purposes).

The most logical need for day rooms is close to airports and preferably with hotels attached to a terminal.

You can get the Heathrow Sofitel Terminal 5 for 135 GBP for a stay from 8 AM until 6 PM.

You are eligible for all status-related benefits, such as upgrades and lounge access.

Conclusion

I tend to book a day room if I have a long transit during the daytime, as staying inside a lounge or two gets really boring after a few hours.

These may work in your favor if you arrive on an early morning flight to your destination and want to ensure that you have a room available when you arrive at the hotel (8 AM early check-in is likely not often available).

Terms and conditions of this offer:

1. CHARACTERISTICS OF THE OFFER

The ALL & VISA US hotel offer only concerns Visa Infinite & Signature Preferred cardholders booking a flexible rate on all ALL – Accor Live Limitless direct booking channels (all.com and the ALL Accor app).

The ALL & VISA US hotel offer is available in Accor Luxe and Premium brands participating in the Hotel offer, and notably the brands Raffles, Fairmont, Sofitel Legend, Sofitel, SO /, MGallery, 21c, Swissôtel, Pullman and Mövenpick. Please see list below of participating Hotels. Please note that this list may be subject to modification.

The General Terms and Conditions of Membership of the ALL Program (hereinafter the “GTC”) apply to this offer.

2. ADVANTAGES OF THE OFFER

The ALL & VISA US hotel offer conditions may vary from hotel to hotel and depend to the type of US VISA Infinite & Signature Preferred card. Conditions will be set forth at the time of the booking.

In the event that a Visa Infinite & Signature Preferred US cardholder reserves a hotel (in advance or directly at the hotel) and chooses another rate other than the dedicated ALL & VISA US hotel offer, will not benefit from any ALL & VISA US hotel offer advantages during their stay.

This offer includes a minimum stay of two (2) nights, depending on the participating hotel and the type of US VISA payment card (Visa Infinite), as well as the following advantages:

– Privileged Welcome (at the discretion of the hotel)
– Upgrade to a higher category room upon arrival, subject to availability
– Late check-out until 3pm, subject to availability
– Free WiFi

In addition to the above advantages, Visa Infinite & Signature Preferred US cardholder will receive a hotel credit of 50 EUR or 50 USD (or the equivalent in local currency) per stay. This hotel credit is only available for a minimum stay of 2 nights at specific hotels detailed hereinafter.

The hotel credit may be used to pay meals and beverages or other hotel services (excluding paying for the hotel room). Thus has to be confirmed by the hotel upon check-in. This credit cannot be refundable or used for another reservation. It must be used during the stay.

The value of the hotel credit is 50 EUR in countries within the Euro zone. For countries outside the Euro zone, the value of the hotel credit is equivalent to 50 USD or in the local currency of the country. The exchange rate applied will be the one in force at the time of check-in at the hotel reception.

In addition, Visa Infinite cardholders will have two (2) offered breakfast (for adults) during their stay at select participating luxury hotel brands listed hereinafter (Raffles, Fairmont, Sofitel Legend, Sofitel, SO /).

In case of several room reservations, only the occupants sharing the room with the Visa Infinite cardholder having used the same credit card for the reservation, will benefit from the advantages listed above. In that case, the offered breakfast is limited to two (2) persons. For the other guests, the services ordered will be invoiced according to the hotel’s conditions of sale.

Room category depends on the availabilities in the hotel. Cancellation policy and child policy apply and the terms and conditions depend on each hotel policy.

For some destinations, the indicated price does not include local taxes, extras or gratuities (which must be paid directly to the hotel). Please note that they may vary according to the periods and hotel’s general terms and conditions.

The ALL & VISA US hotel offer applies to the Member rate. Reward points may be awarded according to the GTC. The Suite Night Upgrade certificate or Reward points already accumulated by the cardholder may be used to settle all or part of the invoice. In this case, the portion of the invoice paid with the Suite Night Upgrade certificate or Reward points is not eligible to earn Reward points as outlined in the GTC.

The ALL & VISA US hotel offer cannot be combined with corporate rates, Accor employee rates, group rates, promotional rates under Accor’s paid subscription programs (for example, the Accor Plus or Business Plus programs) or any other promotional offer.

3. CLAIMS RELATING TO THE ADVANTAGES PROVIDED BY THE OFFER

Within ten (10) working days of Accor’s receipt of the claim/question, the Member will receive confirmation that it is being processed.

Accor shall provide the Member with a response within fifteen (15) business days after receiving the complaint/question, except in exceptional situations where the response shall be provided within thirty-five (35) days at the latest.

“Qantas is the perfect partner for Accor to deepen our relationship with, and growing our loyalty members’ benefits will strengthen our customers’ commitment to our leading brands, like Sofitel, Mantra and Novotel. We predict that this relationship will increase membership and engagement across both of our programs.”

Qantas Loyalty CEO Olivia Wirth said today marks a significant milestone for Qantas Frequent Flyer members, as Australians prepare to travel again.

Qantas Frequent Flyers can already convert their ALL – Accor Live Limitless Reward points to Qantas Points at the rate of one ALL – Accor Live Limitless Reward point per one Qantas Point (in increments of 2000).

Additional benefits for members:

 • Qantas Frequent Flyer members that hold Gold status or above and those that are Points Club or Points Club Plus members can fast track their ALL membership from ALL Classic to ALL Silver when linking their accounts and completing required eligible hotel stays.
 • Accor Plus members that hold ALL Gold status and above can enjoy complimentary Qantas Wine Premium membership which includes free delivery on all orders within Australia and the ability to earn 3 Qantas Points per dollar spent.

Conclusion

The earning of 3 Qantas points for every A$1 is better than earning 1 Flying Blue mile for every one euro spent. So it would make sense to link your Accor ALL account with Qantas for stays in Asia-Pacific IF you will earn enough Qantas points to redeem for anything worthwhile.

I would assume that there are some benefits for linking accounts when it comes to future promotional opportunities.

If your stays are in Asia-Pacific, it is a no-brainer to link your ALL and Qantas accounts and earn some airline miles in the process. I wish there would be more reciprocal elite benefits or status fast tracks. Some Qantas wine club membership for ALL elites doesn’t cut it.

Accor Live Limitless (ALL) Status Levels & Benefits Matrix https://hotellocalcodes.com/2023/04/28/accor-live-limitless-all-status-levels-benefits-matrix/?utm_source=rss&utm_medium=rss&utm_campaign=accor-live-limitless-all-status-levels-benefits-matrix https://hotellocalcodes.com/2023/04/28/accor-live-limitless-all-status-levels-benefits-matrix/#respond Fri, 28 Apr 2023 17:17:10 +0000 https://hotellocalcodes.com/?p=1897 [...]]]> Accor renamed its Le Club AccorHotels guest loyalty program back in December as ALL (Accor Live Limitless).

Change from Le Club AccorHotels to Accor Live Limitless brought some extra benefits and two new status levels (Diamond and Limitless).

We got hold of some helpful graphics and matrix that are useful for explaining the various status requirement and benefits. Accor Live Limitless hasn’t made clear one available on its website.

Accor Live Limitless (ALL) Status Levels

Members can qualify for Silver, Gold, and Platinum levels by either number of nights or status points. Diamond level qualification is by spend only.

Limitless (previously called BLACK – the card is indeed that color) is by invitation only without official qualification criteria.

Note that you earn 2.5 qualifying points per euro at full-service hotels. You earn less at select service and residential hotels (will cover these at other post).

I have converted the status points to euros and bonus points to percentages (easier to understand).

Accor Live Limitless (ALL) Status Benefits

Here’s fascinating information begins. Accor ALL has not officially communicated the invitation-only status (Limitless) or benefits associated with it.

Limitless members can gift a Platinum status, can transfer points, and get a personal ALL assistant.

This soft benefits chart is somewhat oversimplified. It doesn’t take into account that lounge access is excluded at Fairmont hotels or that suite upgrades are not available in many markets, including France.

Conclusion

I wish that all loyalty programs would have simplified status and benefits matrix available for members. These programs have become so complicated that you (employees too) need to have a cheat sheet.

Accor Live Limitless would do a great favor by making some of these benefits beyond bonus points and breakfast in Asia Pacific guaranteed.

It would be interesting to know how many Limitless members there are.

Le Club Accorhotels Non-Participating Hotels & What To Watch On Promos https://hotellocalcodes.com/2023/04/28/le-club-accorhotels-non-participating-hotels-what-to-watch-on-promos/?utm_source=rss&utm_medium=rss&utm_campaign=le-club-accorhotels-non-participating-hotels-what-to-watch-on-promos https://hotellocalcodes.com/2023/04/28/le-club-accorhotels-non-participating-hotels-what-to-watch-on-promos/#respond Fri, 28 Apr 2023 17:14:42 +0000 https://hotellocalcodes.com/?p=1894 [...]]]> Le Club Accorhotels has been gearing up its loyalty program and there has been understandably an increasing interest from LoyaltyLobby readers.

Le Club Accorhotels Non-participating Brands & Hotels Main

In the past couple of weeks, there have been several comments and emails about what qualifies and what does not for certain promotions. I thought that it would be a good idea to do a post on what one should look for.

1. Check that the Accor brand or hotel is Le Club Accorhotels participating

There are Accor hotels and brands that do not participate to the Le Club Accorhotels program at all. You can book these on Accor’s website, but stays at them don’t earn you any points or stay/night credits.

Le Club Accorhotels Non-participating Brands & Hotels

So, all ibis Budget hotels and all ibis hotels in China do not participate. There are some other random hotels as well.

2. Check the booking date requirements for the promotion.

Many Le Club Accorhotels promotions require you to book between specific dates that is often shorter than the valid stay dates for the same offer.

3.Check the valid stays dates

Most, if not all, promotions are valid for stays between certain dates.

4. Check if a specific rate is required to book

Many promotions require you to book a specific rate that qualifies for the promo points.

5. Check the number of nights requirement

Many offers require you to book more than a night to qualify.

6. Check if registration for the promotion is required

Many recent promotions have required you to sign into your account and then link the promo to it. This way Accor doesn’t have to give points to those that are not even aware of the bonus points offer.

7. Check what brands are eligible

Accor often limits bonus points offers to certain brands such as MGallery or Pullman.

8. Check the specific region, city & hotel requirements

Accor has a number of promotions that are region or even city specific. Some promotions are only valid at a select few hotels.

9. Check how many times you can earn bonus points from the promotion

Some Le Club Accorhotels promotions are limited to just one or two stays over the promotional period while some others can be earned unlimited number of times,

Conclusion

The bottom line is that you should always read the terms and conditions of the promotions and comprehend them.

When I write about Le Club Accorhotels promotions, I try to be extremely clear what the requirements are. There are, however, Accor promotions that I may have missed here (always email me a link if you have one).

I will have separate updated posts about the Le Club Accorhotels airline related direct deposits, points conversions and promotions that are equally confusing.

Accor ALL Cobranded Visa Breakfast & F&B Credit https://hotellocalcodes.com/2023/04/28/accor-all-cobranded-visa-breakfast-fb-credit/?utm_source=rss&utm_medium=rss&utm_campaign=accor-all-cobranded-visa-breakfast-fb-credit https://hotellocalcodes.com/2023/04/28/accor-all-cobranded-visa-breakfast-fb-credit/#respond Fri, 28 Apr 2023 17:11:52 +0000 https://hotellocalcodes.com/?p=1891 [...]]]> Accor and BNP Paribas announced last year that they would launch co-branded Visa credit cards first in France in early 2021 and later in other markets in Europe.

The coronavirus delayed the launch that happened this past summer. Accor and BNP Paribas introduced three cards with variable fees and benefits, and one of the card features was not disclosed at the launch.

When I was checking offer updates on Accor’s website earlier today, I came across previously undisclosed breakfast and F&B credit benefits that these ALL/BNP cardholders have.

Previous Articles about ALL Visa:

Visa Explorer and Ultimate cardholders are eligible for:

– 50 USD/EUR F&B credit

– upgrade to a higher category rooms

– late check out until 3 PM if available

Accor lists Raffles, Fairmont, Sofitel, 21c Museum Hotel, MGallery, Swissôtel, Mövenpick, and Pullman brands.

+ exclusively for Ultimate cardholders:

– Free breakfast for two

The complimentary breakfast for two is available at Raffles, Fairmont, Sofitel, and SO/ brands.

Note that the cheapest ALL – Visa Pulse is excluded from these offers

These benefits are not available in all hotels NB: French Franchise hotels do not participate.” The eligible stays must be booked using the ALL VISA rate plan and be a minimum of TWO nights.

But the T&Cs (PDF) state:

L’Offre Hotel ALL-VISA n’est pas cumulable avec les tarifs entreprise négociés (corporate), les tarifs collaborateurs Accor, les tarifs groupes ainsi que les tarifs promotionnels au titre des programmes d’abonnement payants Accor (à titre d’illustration, les programmes Accor Plus ou Business Plus) ni avec aucune autre offre promotionnelle.

Google translation:

The ALL-VISA Hotel Offer cannot be combined with the negotiated corporate rates, Accor collaborators, the Tariffs groups as well as the promotional tariffs under the programs accreditation of Accor payers (at the time of illustration, Accor Plus or Business Plus programs) ni with no other promotional offer

The breakfast and hotel credit are not available on ALL rates, but specific ones available only for co-branded credit cardholders.

The rate should come up automatically for eligible cardholders when they book when logged in.

Conclusion

It is amusing that Accor ALL Visa F&B credit and complimentary breakfast for two are not available in the market (France) where the cards are issued.

You also need to consult the list of participating properties (see the PDF below) to see if they participate in both offers. There can be changes in participation in the future.

You need to calculate if you are eligible for this rate if it makes sense to book it instead of the lowest promotional one available.

The launch was delayed, but more information about these cards was first released in June and then clarified . These cards became available for application in France late last week.

Card Information In Consented Format:

Here are the cards:

 • ALL – VISA Pulse (aimed at Millennials) – a monthly fee of €4.5 (€53 per year)
 • ALL – VISA Explorer (for clients who travel extensively for work or leisure) monthly fee of €13.5 (€162 per year)
 • ALL – VISA Ultimate (for super-premium clients) monthly fee of €34 (€408 per year)

Cards come with yearly bonus nights:

 • ALL – VISA Pulse – 10 NIGHTS
 • ALL – VISA Explorer – 20 NIGHTS

 • ALL – VISA Ultimate – 5,000 Rewards points + promotion unclear (worth €100)

They mentioned the promotion o the Visa Ultimate card, but it is not disclosed anywhere. The signup bonuses for Visa Pulse and Visa Explorer cards are valid until July 29.

Rewards

 • ALL – VISA Pulse – 0.25 points per €1 (0.5% return in the form of ALL points)
 • ALL – VISA Explorer – 0.4 points per €1 (0.8% return in the form of ALL points)
 • ALL – VISA Ultimate – 1 points per €1 (2% return in the form of ALL points)

Here are the cards available:

Visa Pulse

Visa Explorer

Visa Ultimate

Accor Pay App

Insurance Benefits

Secure Payment Cards

Conclusion

I like the fact that you can get 2% of the purchase made back in the form of ALL points, but you need to pay €408 per 12 months for this privilege, so better swipe the card a lot.

Also, there is not fee for swiping the cards outside of the Euro-area. Many European banks charge a 2% to 3% fee if you use the card in other currencies, so this is a good feature.

Essentially, members pay for 10/20/30 additional elite qualifying nights every year by paying the fee for these cards, whether you decide to swipe the cards or not. It is easier to get nights this way than doing mattress runs at hotels where you don’t need or actually want to stay.

I know that readers in the United States are rolling their eyes at the lack of benefits and weak benefits. However, you do need to know that there are very few lucrative cards for the European market where interchange fees are capped, and you usually pay the entire card balance every month (no interest income to the bank). These Accor ALL BNP cards withdraw the account balance from your associated bank account monthly.

I could theoretically open one of these accounts if I set up an account with HSBC in France, although they are in the process of exiting the market, and use a friend’s local address for shipping the card. Just too complicated.
